  • An example of legal foolishness. Alisher Usmanov has used lawyers to try and silence a couple of bloggers. Result – a blogosphere storm and far more attention to the “offending” posts than would have otherwise been the case. Reaching for lawyers may have worked in the old world, it doesn’t in the new. Note how this blog post – which has become the linchpin – is using continual updates to show how the story progresses, as well as posting code to make it easier to promote the sites which are also covering the issue.
