  • What this really shows is that Twitter is a glimpse of the future – the ability to use a handheld device to ask ‘the web’ (the world) a question – i.e. not a primitive google search but a question whose answer is powered by the collective contributions of real people. Its why customer service won’t exist – because people won’t go to a brand to ask a question – they will just ask it to the world because they will expect the brand to be listening and also to link-up with the other people who have also asked the same question. Its why I call web 3.0 the sideways web (web1.0 being the download web and 2.0 being the upload web).  And it is why the connected crowd is the new audience.
