Good reference post on examples of social media activity

This could be interesting – essentially allowing an organisation to have its own YouTube – i.e. the ability to do everything YouTube does, but within a corporate firewall

Community is definitely a big thing. I have had two conversations with organisations just this week about creation of a community. Its going to be the thing that every brand owner is going to want (and tell their agency to make / find for them!). Trouble looms though because the communities most brand owners will want, will not be the communities most members will want to be a part of. Defining a workable community proposition is going to be as important as defining a marketing proposition once was.

This is the latest from Dell – looking to create and host a community for Digital Nomads. Interesting although perhaps the Dell connection is not sufficiently apparent / transparent

A study which charts the state of play with corporate adoption of social media. It clearly shows significant resistance based, largely, on fear, ignorance and apathy. The big question therefore is will organisations have to endure their own "Dell Hell" in order to force them to address social media in the right way – or can they find a less painful way.
