A bit late on this one – but an interesting article that supports the idea that the social network (or social cluster) will be the basic building block / unit of social media

This could be an interesting one to watch. The big question is – is a virtual environment the best way to create a personal ‘place’ where you can aggregate personal information and use as a platform to link with others, or is a gimmick?
